it was sort of fun...

but being 13 is no excuse. ive been doing flash since i was like 11 or 12 or something, and my brother since he was 10, and hes a good actionscripter. the low file size was nice, but unless its 3 or 5 megs, it wouldnt matter that much if it was half of a meg. you need a background, music, sounds, and harder play. the levels got increasingly easier (due to your scoring system). good try, but not really worth protecting.

i got 41,171,010 (: that was one of hte most fun games ive ever played! the flashing ad that loked just like the helpful ones got annoying, but oh well. you shouldve pt in some of those "meet your soulmate" and "lose 30+ pounds" ads in (:

i got to level 32 or so...i stopped concentrating on that around 31.

decent

i learned a new thing, but your way is a bit more complicated, and your also missing something. when you click on the guy where he was after he died, it repeats the death animation, which can be solved with simple variables. also, the shooting animation doesnt have to be 10 frames, it can be 50 or more if you have a lot of things for the guy to do. another big thing you missed is bosses, but its the same idea with the player, i assume.

good concept and all...

but the bugs REALLY got in the way. theres no way to get past level 3 with that disappearing block, and now wya to not get hurt with the ufo's green beam, but as you said in the authors comments, youll hopefully get those fixed. i liked the simple graphics, and the concept. all there needs to be is a REALLY long version, if possible. that would be really cool. i should make a game like this...i think itd be fun, except for the coding and stuff. at least im getting better at that.

anyway, good graphics, good idea, great music, but too short and the bugs are pretty interfering.

lame

the game had decent graphics and smooth animation, but thats about it. the colision detection was horrible; i had to be halfway through a wall to count as a hit, and when it did i got stuck. also, whenever it did a game over for me, if i re-did the game it wuldnt let me get the souls. hell 2 was pretty cheap, i got sick of it at hell 4. hell 2's tombstone area kept getting me stuck and somehow i went through a wall.

all in all, this game was REALLY buggy, you need to re-re-do the code and put in some music.

you really need to test this better, there is a simple solution to that horrible hit detection. when i did special #2 the guys would always hit me because the hitTest thought hte fire was a part of me, and i didnt hurt them half hte time when doing a special, which sucks. needs better music, more animations, more violence, and more testing. it was actually fun though, bu those bugs realyl got in the way. i was kinda surprised that you said you and your friend tested it and didnt find many glitches, but you apprently did, so why didnt you fix them? that bug when your behind them and they can hit you is REALLY annoying.

a decent tutorial. this is how i learned how to do my lip sync, except i sort of changed to my own style and stuff. i like this, though. "i like to eat cheese" who doesnt? :D

mediocre

no sound and bad grammar makes this worse than it is. very helpful and stuff, but you need to have sound, and fix those grammar errors. lately ive been getting bugged by that kinda stuff.

took me about a half an hour...

it was really hard, but i liked the groovy music that you put in there, and i liked the hardness of this. i will admit it was somewhat frusterating, and some of those hints didnt help much, but i got through the game. awesome game!

great game!

the aniamtion was nice, the graphics style was clever and the music was appropriate. loved it. reminded me of johnny rocketfingers. btw, there is a way you can not show that yellow square when you hit tab. itll still go to the "down" frame but wont show that little square. i used this little pice of code for my site.
